ABOUT HHS

Hobart Horror Society is a community for horror lovers in Hobart, Tasmania.We bring people together through a shared love of horror, whether that means catching a new release at the cinema, discussing our latest book club read, revisiting a cult classic or getting together for trivia, games and social events.Founded in 2024, HHS has grown into an active community of horror fans, with regular events happening throughout the year. Some of us are lifelong horror obsessives, while others are only just discovering the genre. You don't need to know every slasher sequel or have an encyclopaedic knowledge of horror to belong here.At its heart, HHS is about connection. Horror might be what brings us into the room, but the community we've built around it is what keeps us coming back.Whether you're a lifelong horror fan or just horror-curious, you're welcome here.
